Much of my experience over the past year has been working on several serious games projects through RETRO Laboratories.  The first project that I worked on through the lab was Novonics’ Walk in my Shoes.

walk

Walk in my Shoes is a simulation developed to inform soldiers about possible problems they may face in pre- and post-deployment.  My main duties while working on this project were to not only gather data for analysis, but also to do usability testing in a one-on-one setting with numerous participants. I also conducted iterative design on the numerous mini-games that were part of the simulation. Links to each mini-game are included below.

Upon completion of both data and usability analysis, I helped create a paper based on our findings that was submitted and accepted to the Games for Health Journal. The citation is in the Academic Publications section.
